Bridlington Classic Pop Singers are a group of around 40 people who perform 1960's/70's Classic Pop songs free of charge for Charity Fundraising, and in support of other good causes. We also exist simply to promote group singing of Classic Pop Music, and for that reason perform free at local Festivals and non-profit making shows that offer us the opportunity to present our exciting and unique performance arrangements of Classic Pop songs through artistic expression of the music, dance and drama of the era.
                                                                                                             
Our concerts/shows are very popular because we are more than just a singing group, dramatising some of the more lively songs, and combining dance movements, and the colour of dress from the era to help the audience hear, feel and experience the atmosphere of the 1960's and 1970's

These pioneering and unique concert/shows may be booked locally in Bridlington, Driffield, Scarborough, Hornsea and surrounding villages. Also Hull,York, Doncaster by arrangement

We also support fundraising for "Good causes", and offer performances simply to entertain at parties for disabled groups, pensioners etc. Please contact us by phone, letter or email if you want some help in raising funds, or to discuss a concert booking for a good cause

Want to join us? Classic pop singing as part of a group is wonderful fun, and new members are always welcome. Rehearsals are 7.30pm at the Emmanuel Church, Cardigan Road, Bridlington every Tuesday and Thursday. Membership is just £5 per month. The rehearsals are enjoyable, and you can join in our concerts when our Producer and Musical Director feel you are "Concert ready". Come and join us, make new friends. Enjoy promoting Classic Pop Music, and help the charities and other good causes that we support!

CONCERTS and SHOWS
We now usually only accept bookings within a 20 mile radius of Bridlington due to travel difficulties including the increased cost of petrol/diesel. This is because we always offer our concerts free of charge. However, we will consider more distant bookings if the organisers are able to fund the cost of a minibus/ small coach.
Please note we refuse to perform at outdoor events unless there is a performance area, and reserved area/ seating for an audience. For this reason we may decline some bookings for Gala's and Fetes
